Elephant Coach City Touring in Yangon
Discover Yangon in style! Spend a day touring the city in an elegant, antique Chevrolet bus. These giant coaches once filled the streets of Yangon serving as public transportation for the city’s residents. But as the country has modernized, the old Chevrolet buses have disappeared.
Traveling back in time in Myanmar
The Elephant Coach is a throwback to the days of yore. The coaches have been painstakingly restored with the exterior staying true to its original design. Inside, however, the refurbishments have transformed the humble bus into a luxury vehicle. Instead of carrying up to 35 passengers on hard benches, the Elephant Coach features only eight cushioned seats. The floors and walls are beautifully polished teak while the interior is accented by decorative carvings. Not only is the vehicle reminiscent of the past, the driver will also be wearing an old-fashioned pith helmet.
